Dear Colleagues and Esteemed Guests,
At the outset I would like to welcome all the colleagues as well as all the Faculties and Chairpersons of the scientific program. This year Mid Year Conference of Indian Psychiatric Society is going to be held at Agra from 17 to 18 August 2024 Agra being a historical city as well as having a very important heritage site "TAJ MAHAL". This will definitely attract more colleagues to the conference. The theme of the conference "Consultation Liaison Psychiatry" is also very important in the present scenario. Mental health is becoming very important to keep sound physical health also, therefore our this year Tagline is "SOUND BODY IN SOUND MIND ONLY" . Delibrations and discussions in this conference will be focussing on Mapping Territories and Upskilling during Liasoning.We must try to reach out to other medical specialties and make them understand the role of stress in the etiology of many physical diseases too. Liasoning will denitely help in prevention as well as treatment of many physical as well as psychiatric illnesses.
I am confident that the conference will be a great success under the leadership of you both. I extend my best wishes for the conference and assure of any help required at any time from the IPS office. My compliments to all the other members of the organising team for the hard work they are putting in for this conference.

Dear Esteemed Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure and anticipation that I extend a warm welcome to all of you to the Midterm CME Program in Psychiatry (MIDCIPS) 2024, organized by the Indian Psychiatric Society (IPS). This year, our conference will be held in the beautiful city of Agra, on August 17 and 18 , at the prestigious Jaypee Palace Hotel & Convention Centre.
MIDCIPS 2024 promises to be an enriching and enlightening experience for all participants, featuring engaging sessions, thought-provoking discussions, and opportunities for networking and collaboration.
As Honorary Secretary of IPS, I am particularly excited about the opportunity for us to come together in person once again, to reconnect, exchange ideas, and strengthen our bonds as colleagues and friends.
